These actions are designed for ``glue-in" guns. One important part of this design is a trigger housing that allows the trigger to be used un-modified,
but screwed to the bottom of the action (no trigger pin holes in the side of the stock). NOTE: Actions can also be conventionally bedded.
17-4 stainless steel is used to make the receiver (the steel used in the
landing gear of jet planes). With 17-4 you can forget about the rust and corrosion problems you have with steel and aluminum actions, which is a BIG problem when they are glued in a finished stock. |
