Hall Mfg. was started in 1977 by Allan Hall to build custom actions. Allan has over 25 years experience in designing and building actions. He has also built match barrels, triggers, fit and chambered, and built complete rifles. This experience has allowed Hall Mfg to build an action recognized as one of the leading actions in the world that not only looks good, but also works and shoots good.

These actions are designed for ``glue-in" guns. One important part of this design is a trigger housing that allows the trigger to be used un-modified, but screwed to the bottom of the action (no trigger pin holes in the side of the stock). NOTE: Actions can also be conventionally bedded.

17-4 stainless steel is used to make the receiver (the steel used in the landing gear of jet planes). With 17-4 you can forget about the rust and corrosion problems you have with steel and aluminum actions, which is a BIG problem when they are glued in a finished stock.
